Theme-based Approach

Starting from 2011-12, OGCIO has adopted a theme-based approach to sponsor proposals initiated by the community. Under this approach, we will set a few themes annually or periodically in consultation with the Digital 21 Strategy Advisory Committee (D21SAC) and invite proposals under these themes from the community.

Themes for Year 2012-13

For 2012-13, the D21SAC has decided on the following four themes :

  • Development of mobile apps / websites for underprivileged groups
  • Recognition scheme for ICT usage among the elderly
  • ICT manpower development – promotion to secondary students
  • Enhancing ICT adoption among SMEs
