Hong Kong has been faring well in terms of Internet connectivity and ICT penetration.  Along with the rapid growth in Internet adoption, there are challenges concerning the governance and administration of the Internet.  Internet governance covers a broad range of subjects, such as domain name administration and protection of critical Internet infrastructure, aiming to ensure the stability, security and safe use of the Internet.
